So I’ve been a mom now for about nine years and I must say that I have it down to a almost a science…ha ha! That is so hysterical..please I couldn’t even continue  with such a lie and type that with such a straight face.  Please, I am far from having it down pact at all.  Motherhood has its ups and downs, sideways and zigzags but, I am glad that I was chosen to be the mom to these two kiddos. In honesty, these two could not have come at a better time. With the pressure of work, pressure of doing it all just ceased to exist anymore once I became a mother and oh boy did they teach me me a thing or two about myself so let me share, cause I’m sure you too can agree….

When the hubby and I decided that it was time to add kids to our twosome, I never realized that I was preparing my body and mind for the Motherhood of Olympics. My body ached, stretched in areas unmentionable, all to receive the ultimate medal of them all…a beautiful boy…not once but, twice. Yep, I am a two-time gold medal winner. So if you are ready to commit your body and mind to long sleepless nights, you may have the mindset of the next great Mompian. When “having it all” is mentioned in a conversation, usually an eye roll follows. Is this because there is no such thing as “having it all”? Are we living in a fairytale if we think having it all is really such a thing? Some people may think that having the perfect house, the perfect career or the vast amount of friends you have on social media defines “having it all”. While having the “perfect” everything may be true to most, it certainly doesn’t define this mom of two.

For me “having it all” is living the moment through the eyes of my two boys. What we sometimes see around us can jade our views on love, relationships, families, etc., but since becoming a mom I have learned to appreciate the oh-so little things. It truly changes your perspective of life.

To an outsider, it may seem that I gave up so much for becoming a stay at home mom, but I’m glad I did. You’ve got to choose your battles, and at this moment I am fulfilling my days with taking my kids to school, helping them with homework and watching them explore the world around them. Being able to experience my kids first is something that I cherish. To me this is a clear choice and for me this is what “having it all” means.

Being able to share my story was the encouragement needed to start to my blog. It was a way to inspire new moms that “having it all” is different from house to house, but the key is to embrace it and live each moment to the fullest.

Another person who captures the “Have it All” spirit is Geneva Thomas. Not only does Geneva invite us into her swanky New York City home in the “Haute Havens” video, but also we get to see her unique, but very exciting self.

I am thrilled to see celeb moms admitting that being a mom brings out their sexiness, but does it have to be so smack in your face?!

Mom to Baby Blue Ivy, Beyonce recently gyrated and thrusted with a flimsy thong at the 2014 Grammy’s with her hubby Jay Z to her new single “Drunk In Love“, but as a mom why did I feel a little bit uncomfortable, not only for the fact that this was NSFTV, but as a mom, I heard myself scream “put some damn clothes on!”
