Are You Getting Your Daily Dose Of Protein?

When it comes to developing strong lean muscles incorporating protein into your diet is essential.  According to online medical studies, adults in the U.S. are encouraged to get 10% to 35% of their day’s calories from protein foods. That’s about 46 grams of protein for women, and 56 grams of protein for men. Are your getting that much?

Apparently It’s not hard to get this amount if you eat two to three servings of protein-rich foods a day, according to the CDC. However, how realistic is that with being a busy on-the-go mom…who has the time to eat protein rich foods on a daily basis,  but with the help of GNC PUREDGE™ Complete Vegan protein powder your daily dose of PROTEIN is readily accessible.

The folks over at GNC sent me over a their Natural Vanilla flavored Complete Vegan Protein Plant-Based Performance Protein supplement and I immediacy jumped at the chance to put this protein powered to the test right before my run.

Since I am no amateur to drinking powder shakes I was pleasantly surprise by the taste of GNC PUREDGE™ Complete Vegan protein.  Long gone are the days of gritty or chalky texture.  Simply add water or your favorite beverage daily and voila.  For an even yummier taste, I added this vegan powder to my morning smoothie mix and all I can say is “HELO, ENERGY!”

Going to have to give this a try. I have yet to find a protein powder that isn’t chalky. Thanks.
