The New York Times has reported that Caesarean births has become the most common operation in American hospitals. About 1.4 million Caesareans were performed in 2007.  When needed, a Caesarean can save the mother and her child from injury or death, but most experts doubt that one in three women need surgery to give birth. Kate Gosselin (“Jon and Kate Plus 8”) has joined the lineup of “Dancing with the Stars” to be aired on ABC on March 22.  Recently, we have been seeing Kate strutting around  town promoting her new do ($1,000 extensions) , tanned and toned look..hmm what seems to be missing??..her 8 kids!  My favorite glossy, US Magazine, states that Kate “preps for DWTS…instead of quality time with eight kids.”   Who are we to hate on Kate for making the money, but has she gone to far?
