Do you remember last year’s Dr. Seuss preschool project? Well, since the kids and I had such a blast celebrating all things Dr. Seuss, we just had to keep the tradition going.  So in honor of our most recent favorite Dr. Seuss tale, we decided on The Lorax — check out this easy and most treasured arts and craft project to date.

When picking Lil B up from preschool  I was greeted with the cutest invention made by the kids…in homage of the Dear Dr. Seusss…a tall, red-and-white striped hat which we all know that was worn by the main character in Dr. Seuss’s “Cat in the Hat” story.  Cute, right?

Looking to create your own version of the “Cat in the Hat” hat…here’s what you’ll need:

  • Large sheets of red and white construction paper
  • Ruler
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Tape or Staples View Post
