How to potty train your child

Every parent has to go through certain things in raising their child and potty training is one thing most parents fear.  The different theories behind how to train your child, advice from friends and family, and the stories from people whose child woke up on day and decided they would potty train themselves.  This can be a very stressful time with your child.  The constant asking them if they have to go potty, accidents, self doubt that you are doing something wrong, and just over all frustration.  Don’t worry because you are not the first parent to have issues potty training and you won’t be the last. To kick off BlogHer ’12 (I’ll be there on Saturday!!!), Mom Trends hosted an event on Wednesday that only a mommy fashionista could love…bloggers got first dibs to preview the Holiday 2012 Children’s Place collection. From sequins, leggings, fur, animal print, monster hats, vests, denim and jewelry, this is one collection that you and your mini fashionista must run to.

The Children’s Place Designer, Michael Giannelli and his team spoke to us on how there will be more options for boys (yay, someone finally heard me!) and that the theme for this holiday is “snow days, picture perfect and travel”…so right on trend!  And of course what’s in store for 2013…drum roll please…neon for spring and intense color for the summer with bright neutrals.

The 2012 Holiday Collection will be in stores September 15…so act fast!  Happy Holidays!

A very special kudos to Nicole Feliciano, The Founder of Mom Trends and her team for organizing such a fab event, not only do I have the perfect holiday outfit picked out for my toddler, but I had the opportunity to meet and mingle with some of my favorite parent bloggers.

A mom emerged from the bathroom to find her sons happily playing in a mess — and her house completely covered in flour! All which was caught on video….YIKES!!

“Oh my gosh,” the mom says repeatedly as she pans the room. The flour got in everywhere, including the top of the door.  View Post

Watch Baby Mason join in at his Auntie Kimmie’s wedding festivities over the weekend.

In this sneak peak of the big event we see Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick‘s son Mason, 1½, looking too cute for words as he is seen walking down the aisle as the ring bearer for Kim Karsdashian and Kris Humphries’s wedding!

Mason smiled as he walked his way down the aisle while wearing an all white suit, with his hair combed off to one side. One woman even yelled, “Oh my God, he is just so cute!”

Baby Mason surely stole the show!
