Why Women Are Choosing To Be Single Mothers?

Some women are destine to become mothers, but when they have no boyfriends or husbands to speak of they decide to take matters in their own hands.

“I don’t need a man to have a baby” rings true to women whose clocks are ticking.  With Artificial Insemination and adoption on the rise why does a woman need a man???  Statistics have found that women in their 30’s, 40’s and even 50’s and who are financially stable are the ones leading this trend.

Just take it from celebrities like Meg Ryan (Actress) and Sheryl Crow (Singer), they both found that adopting a child was all the inspiration they needed to complete their family, minus the man.  “A family doesn’t always look like girl meets boy, they fall in love, they get married, they have a kid,” Crow has said.

Motherhood is hard enough, so how can one person do it alone? actually my findings show that their are male alternatives, ie uncles, cousins, male friends, teachers, and even coaches that can become male role models.

41% of single moms by choice have decided that they will not marry anyone to raise a child, this trend has since doubled from 1990 and is continuing to go higher.
