  • can of vanilla icing
  • assortment gum drops
  • sprinkles

Begin by putting half a can of the vanilla frosting in one of these pastry bags. Note that you can easily make your own pastry bag with a ziploc bag. Simply cut off a tiny piece of one corner to make squeezing the icing onto the cookie easy.

Use the icing by squeezing a small bead of icing all the way around the cookie. It doesn’t have to be perfect.

Pour your sprinkles into a shallow dish and then place the iced cookie face down in the plate of sprinkles.

Turn your sugar cookie over and voila! This is now the rim of your hat.

Now add a droplet of icing in the center of the cookie.

These are SUPER easy to make assembly line style and the kiddos can even help by sticking on the gum drop!
