MommyWood: A Look Inside The Lives Of Hollywood Moms {Poll}

With wine in hand, I was glued to my tv once the segment on Hollywood Moms aired on ABC News Nightline. The cameras takes us in the lives of the POSHest moms in Hollywood….Rachel Zoe, Kris Kardashian, Denise Richards and Tori Spelling.  Yes, we see these moms jetsetting with their kids in tow looking uber-POSH, but they to are moms and living as we live (ok, maybe a tad-like), with toddler going through temper tantrums, trying to mend their messy relationships and going through first-time moms jitters.

First, let’s talk about the stylist to the stars and my fav POSH mom, Rachel Zoe.  Zoe admits that she gave herself a radical makeover after the birth of her son, Skyler.  Say What???!!  Actually we learn that its more mental than physical..Zoe said her entire perspective changed, and that for the first time, something else took priority over her fashion obsession – her newborn son!

Mom’s don’t you agree?

“Every day I wake up thinking, what can I do next and what more can I do?” she said. “With my husband by my side, and now Skyler, my son, and the team that I have, I feel like anything is possible.”

Next, we look into the life of actress, Denise Richards, 40, she dishes about her tumultuous relationship with bad boy, ex-hubby, Charlie Sheen and her love for her kids.  “My first thing is to protect them. … [T]hat’s all that matters to me.” Richards has written a memoir, titled “The Real Girl Next Door,” because she believes her story is universal, she said.

Most recent, Denise makes room in her home and heart for a new addition in her family. Richards adopted a six-week-old girl last month who is part African-American, part Hispanic and part white. Richards named her Eloise Joni, after Denise’s mother, Joni Richards, who died of cancer almost four years ago.

“I love being a mom more than anything. And I wanted to have more children. And I had to make a decision, ‘Do I wait until I meet the right person? Or do I keep moving forward with my life and do it on my own?'” she said.

90210 Alum, Tori Spelling says that “Mommywood means being a mom, doing it like everyone else, but kind of being in that fishbowl.” With the success of her reality show “Tori & Dean”, Spelling was criticized for putting her young children in the spotlight. Spelling said it’s better than if she were still acting, with a nanny raising them. Or than if she had pushed them into being actors themselves. “To me it’s a great [family] video that they’ll have,” she said.

They also take you into the lives of the Kardashian franchise, whether you love or hate them, the Kardashian klan is everywhere you look.  The queen bee/Mom, Kris “Momager” Kardashian brought us in the lives on her family throught TV shows — from “Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami,” “Kourtney and Kim Take New York” and “Khloe & Lamar”.

As their manager, Jenner earns her income through her children’s work, and when asked if she thought it was strange to be taking their money in her paychecks, Jenner said “it’s such a business thing.”
