Talk show host and actress Kelly Ripa and hunky actor/husband Mark Consuelos are set to produce a reality show about the off-screen antics of soap opera stars, E! announced.
The eight-episode series, “Dirty Soap,” will follow six soap stars and give a “titillating look at these stunning thespians as they navigate high-profile careers during pivotal moments in the industry and deal with their own real-life drama,” according to a statement.
According to Soap Opera Digest, the cast will include One Life to Live‘s real-life loves Farah Fath and John-Paul Lavoisier, Nadia Bjorlin and Galen Gering from Days of Our Lives, and Kirsten Storms and former Dancing with the Stars champ Kelly Monaco from General Hospital.
The series will premiere September 25.
The couple married in 1996 and have three children.
