I was looking for a place in Westchester (30 minutes from NYC) for some much needed mom-me time and that is exactly what I found in this new gem of a place located in Elmsford, NY. First let me preface by saying that I am a total salon snob, yep, thats me…bonafide salon snob. I’m so snobby, that if I’m not like, familiar with the salon equipment supplier, then it’s a no-go salon for me. So when I was introduced to yet another salon called I simply wanted to know what made this place so different….
And what made this spa so special? Simply everything!
Open for over 30 years, Nail Spa is conveinetly located in the city of Elmsford, NY with FREE parking. Anything with FREE parking already had me sold.
Upon entering I was greeted with smiles and enthusiasm like I was already family. Ailing Tang, the owner, welcomed me and confirmed my mani and pedi appointment. She then asked me to choose a nail color which in my opinion, was a wall of beauty. Nail color galore engulfed the wall with nail products from Essie, OPI and SNS..oh my!
Nail technician, Vivian, greeted me and already saw that I had the “Take care of me – I’m a mom!” look on my face. This already assured me that I was in the right place for a day (actually an hour) of pampering.

I picked out my usual go-to nail color and sat in the pedi chair while indulging in some much needed chair massage. Vivian then scrubbed, massaged and polished my much needed tired feet. Oh how I needed that.
After my much needed pedi, I headed into yet another plush chair for my manicure.
The experience was very similar to the pedicure – careful and very specific attention to detail.
