If your newborn is colicky, overtired or just need to feel “snug like a bug in a rug” a swaddle is your baby’s best friend, next to your womb. So, if you are looking for the perfect wrap for your ‘lil peanut, then look no further.

As a new mom, I’ve tried them all and just ended tossing them all away after my newborn would escape from it.  Come the morning, I would wake up to find one of his legs or arms sticking out from an opening,  I soon feared the risk of SIDS and tossed them all away.  But not until when my friends over at BabyBonkie Swaddle sent me a sample for a product review, I was completely sold.  And you know me, I wouldn’t be spreading the love for just any product.

The Baby Bonkie is safe to use and swaddles your ‘lil one in three easy steps.  It comes in a variety of thicknesses (you wouldn’t believe how soft the lining is), POSH patterns (just for you fashionable moms) with no room for escaping. And come the winter time or if your room is a little chilly, try the lined Baby Bonkie…see, so many options for you to try.

I gave it a test run on my 2 month old nephew and he absolutely loved it. His mom use it throughout the night and said that it was one his (and hers) best nights ever.  The Baby Bonkie is the first I have seen that is truly able to accommodate a baby from newborn (7 pounds) to 5 months of age.

If you are interested in buying a Baby Bonkie, it can bought at stores around the county in addition to Nordstrom’s, Saks’s, and Barney’s, etc. or via http://www.babybonkie.com.

And because I love YOU, my readers, I am giving away one (1) swaddle to the lucky winner (selected randomly)!  This is one giveaway that you must not pass up!

All you need to do is leave a comment on this post, how easy is that?! Plus you get another entry for tweeting about it – make sure you include @mommyposh with a mention of this giveaway and you’ll be in the running! That’s two ways of winning this must-have item.

Closing for entries is midnight on July 15th.  Good luck!

Sorry Miz Parker, but this is by far a fashionista DON’T…the high, stiff hair reminds me of the Cameron Diaz’ gel hair look in “There’s Something About Mary” (insert chuckle here).
So Mommy Posh teamed up withBecome.com, the all-in-one shopping advice site, to bring to you the best of best when it comes to Haircare tips.
Keeping your hair looking fresh and clean for the summer can dramatically regulate your body’s overall temperature, so here’s the top 5 cool-hair looks for summer 2011.
1. Pony UpA ponytail is a styling basic – you can sport it in so many ways – worn on the side, poufed or touseld – which can be transformed from a day to night look. Jennifer Aniston (pic 1) has been quoted to liking the ponytail look because of the easy breezy-ness of it.  To get the look, apply finishing cream to washed hair before blow-dryingit smooth, gather hair into a medium-height and secure it with an elastic, use pomade on the tail to give it an even more smoother look.

2. Shellac It Back: Keeping your hair back from your face can instantly keep you cool and keep your skin looking young and fresh.  Slick your hair up like Kourtney Kardashian (pic 2).  The key to getting this smooth style? While hair is wet, pull it super-tight, and use cheap hairspray for men for that extra smooth look.

To know me is to know that I love watching Sex and the City and most of all love watching everything Carrie Bradshaw; from watching her love life unfold, fashion hits and misses to listening in on her inner thoughts.

Like many women, Sex and the City has been a part of our lives and for this FASHIONABLE FRIDAY, I dedicate it to Carrie Bradshaw.  Here’s a list of  things I’ve learned from her throughout the years.  Read on and you’ll agree.

1. Have FUN with Fashion. Who cares what’s trendy this season, know what looks good on your body.  Sorry Ladies, but Spandex aren’t for everybody.

2. Own ONE good pair of shoes.  Shoes are an investment.  Good doesn’t have to mean expensive.  But invest in good shoes, ones you can wear over and over, and that you love, that will treat you & your body great.

3. Fashion CAN be affordable.  I love that Carrie can combine a simple tee, a jacket and accessorize it with pearls and heels. Yes, even Carrie was affordable in her attires, remember with her male BFF, Stanford reminded her that she use to wear Candies.  See, Carrie knows great fashion find when she sees one.

4.  Love what you do. Carrie wrote about relationships in her column.  I write about motherhood and because of my love for fashion and pop culture I write about that too, which is why you and I are friends.  If you are a mommy blogger, continue to write about what you love…we can all relate.
