There are tons of apps that are able to document your life.  And while some are useful, most are just time consuming and downright confusing. And who has the time to figure out which are which? As a social media influencer, I am always on the hunt for the quick and easy way to share my daily ancedonts so when I found Dripthat I was hooked.

4aaa75cc-fe4d-11e4-aec9-22000af93a2d Dripthat is a new app that allows you to share photos and videos when you want all at once or over a specified time with who you want: the entire world or with private groups.

Dripthat is different from other social sharing platforms for two distinct reasons: You control the tempo in distributing your content.Specify minutes, hours, days, even weeks in which to ‘drip’ photos and videos. You control who gets to see it.Specify what can be seen by the entire world and what can be shared with a select few.

Users create a profile, add the “Create a drip” button to their iOS and can then share their “drip worthy” items.  As a mom that loves to share healthy eating habits as well as daily workout regimens this new app is the perfect tool to document my hows to on living a healthy lifestyle. You can also follow other friends to see what items they may deem “drip worthy”. IMG_8790

Once you start to “drip” recipes, clothes and workout regimes, it really is impossible to stop. Over the course of a few days I have “drip”ped many items.  I think they’ve created a monster.

When it comes to developing strong lean muscles incorporating protein into your diet is essential.  According to online medical studies, adults in the U.S. are encouraged to get 10% to 35% of their day’s calories from protein foods. That’s about 46 grams of protein for women, and 56 grams of protein for men. Are your getting that much?

Kale is everywhere—in juices, smoothies, salads, and everyone is talking about. Are you curious about what Kale is and why it’s so good?

Kale is a dark leafy green vegetable; it is a similar vegetable to cabbage, with green or purple leaves. It can be eaten raw, steamed, sautéed, blanched, baked, and even added to a smoothie or juice!

Kale provides the body with fiber and chlorophyll, both of which support the body’s natural detoxification efforts. Fiber binds with toxins and other undesirables in your digestive tract and helps usher them out. Chlorophyll helps to remove heavy metals and other toxins from the body. In order to successfully detox you need to get the waste out.

Here are some easy ways to start incorporating kale into your diet:

  • Add some to your salad! Just break the leaves off the stem, maybe massage the kale a bit, then eat with your other greens in your salad!
  • Sautee it with some extra virgin olive oil as a great side! Add salt, pepper, maybe some garlic?
  • Make Kale chips! Break the leaves off the stem, drizzle with olive oil, add some seasoning and bake approximately 10 minutes
  • Blend a handful of it for a delicious, refreshing juice….see below for my recipe for Kale Lemonade!

Exactly what the doctor ordered just in time for flu season…a warm, delicious bowl of soup.  So long before the “Soup Nazi” Seinfeld episode, The Original SoupMan, Al, had lines out the door at Al’s Legendary NYC store located in the heart of NYC.  So when I was asked to review the The Original SoupMan world famous soups to Celebrate National Soup Month I couldn’t wait to devour. Was great about this BPA free brand, is not only can it be served as a meal, but can be combined with other ingredients for a delicious, new recipe. Just check out the  individual packages for recipe suggestions.

If you are looking for soup that is a convenience, you have to try this  ‘heat and serve’ soup. Plus, you don’t need a can opener!

The family and I tried the Chicken Noodle Soup and we give it two thumbs up for a heat and serve soup.  This has to have been the most unique tasting chicken noodle I’ve tasted in a long time!  As I found it very tasty and delish, my husband on the other hand found is a little bit spicy, as he is adverse to flavors.
