Today I am linking up with Aisle to Aloha on “it’s the little things” week. What a great way to celebrating life’s little treasures…

Aisle to Aloha
The little things that made this week oh so special . . .
Zumba Fitness – I am a total fanatic of this dance workout. I may have two left feet, but once the music kicks in I don’t care how uncoordinated I may look.  Laughing at myself also make this dance workout even more enjoyable Girls Night Out – Can’t wait to indulge in some mom”me” time tonight…oh how I need it!  Fall – Yay, not only is it boots season, but since having a baby it now means prep for Halloween costumes, apple picking and drinking apple cider  Ryan Gosling–  I loved him in “The Notebook” and now this weekend I am going to enjoy him in “Drive”..oh those abs, that smile, need I say more Season Premieres  – My DVR is on overload…from NBC Thursday nights to ABC’s Dancing With the Stars

Lil B – My son has taught me that taking chances is not always a bad thing…its ok to be adventous and to try new things…because of him I no longer take things for granted Glossy Mags – This has to be my most guilty pleasure every week Being One With Nature – Lil B and I ended our busy week with a bang by visiting our local nature center, he got a chance to pet and feed the animals and do arts and crafts with other kids.  Watching him explore new things just makes my heart sing.

There you have it…. I am committing to doing this every Friday, so be sure to keep stopping by…if you want more on me and my “little things” that I am loving, stop by on my Facebook Fan Page.

The wait is finally over and the reviews are in for my results of Crest 3D White 2 Hour Express Whitestrips.

As a reminder, here’s where I left of…ok, now to the application…the instructions were very easy to understand and I had no trouble applying them. You peel the strip from the clear plastic, press the gel side against your teeth and tuck the extra part under your teeth. So 2 hours later and voila…whiter teeth? I did only notice a slight difference, but then around day 2-3 I began to notice a HUGE difference.  It got whiter and brighter.  Teeth senstivity also lasted for about 2 days.  The inclosed handout did mention temporary tooth and gum discomfort, so this, I was expecting.  So, all in all with the impressive final results with no dentist appointment needed, the teeth discomfort was worth it.

The end result was great, but for me not immediate, as indicated.  It was a great reveal – day 5 – during my blogger conference though, I did feel great while speaking with my new blogger friends, I had no longer felt ashamed of my coffee-stained teeth and was camera ready!

A box of 4 whitening doses cost about $54.99.  Not a bad price pay for 3 months of whiter brighter teeth.

Take a look for yourself at my before and after look:

Because I love this product so much, you to can reap in on the benefits of a brighter, whiter smile.  Check after the jump how you can enter to get your FREE box today!

This proud mama just couldn’t wait to share with you my son’s first day at nursery school. Its a drop-off program for two hours, twice a week. I kept telling myself over and over again that this will be good for him and…ME and that Lil B needs to be around other kids so that he can learn socialization and other fun stuff associated with school, but closer and closer towards the date, did I started feeling this queasy, bubbling sensation in the pit of my stomach.  Uh Uh my son is going to school…ahhhhh!!! What am I doing???!!

The night before, I planned out Lil B’s outfit, my outfit (of course!), shoe box filled with school supplies and of course a box of tissues – for me!

Thanks to Mabel’s Labels, a cool site for customized sticky and clothing labels, I left no area unmarked when it came to marking his territory, even down to his Pottery Barn Kids back pack!

I couldn’t sleep a wink since I was so anxious of my son meeting his new friends and teacher. Questions like Am I doing the right  thing? Am I staring him too soon? kept clogging my mind for hours on end.

Morning finally arrived and I couldn’t wait…after fighting to feed Lil B oatmeal, we then headed out to school. Being the first one to arrive (yes I am one of those) I had Lil B pose for several pics. Of course, Lil B not understanding what this hoopla was about, I realized that I had no reason to be nervous.  And I was right, Lil B now has new friends that are just as cute as he and are to settling into new territory.

Well, Day 1 went off without a hitch..let’s see what’s in store for Day 2..stay tuned for more updates and pics on my son’s adventures in Nursery School.

Today’s guest post is from Laura Cecil, a writer for Livesnet.com, a site where baby products are reviewed. Laura has great recommendations on ways you can protect your mobile child inside your own home.

Protect Your Mobile Children

The good news for parents is that the infant will become mobile and more independent after an age of about six months. Unfortunately, that’s also the bad news. Once the child become mobile, everything in the home will be interesting to him or her; everything will present some sort of danger. This is definitely the time to protect the child against these lurking household dangers by buying a few safety devices.

Stairways are always a problem. If your home has direct access to either the top or bottom of a stairway, you can be sure that the baby is going to want to climb. You’ll need one or more good baby gates to keep the baby off from the stairway. One gate that is highly recommended is the Evenflow Top of Stairs Plus. This gate is securely mounted using screws; it can be painted or if you prefer stained to match the decor of your room; and it is less expensive than other gates of similar quality. The baby will find it nearly impossible to open the gate. Even adults must practice in order to open it readily. View Post
